Assistant Coach Esteban Doria


Esteban is in his second year with the Bruce Barbell staff. His first experience in strength and conditioning was an internship under the tutelage of Sean Benevides at Athlete’s Advantage in Wellington, FL. Within his stint at Athlete’s Advantage, Doria assisted in the implementation of the speed development and conditioning program that aided the 2009 Glades Day Gators football team to a state championship. Coach Doria has been an assistant conditioning coach to some of the country’s top interscholastic athletes, including all-time rush yardage leader Kelvin Taylor and 2014 Rivals 100 offensive tackle K.C. McDermott.

Coach Doria graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. During his studies, he was a volunteer assistant with the FSU Strength and Conditioning staff under the direction of Hatch protégés Vic Viloria and Joe Danos. Doria also assisted Nike with their Sparq Scouting Combines tour in the state of Florida, guiding prospective athletes through agility and speed evaluations.


Esteban is currently seeking his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Louisiana State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist under the NSCA and holds his Olympic Weightlifting Sports Performance certification from USAW.
